FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
WELCOME TO OLDTOWN
North Attleborough, MA — March 30, 2025

Ministers: ALL of our Members and Friends
Pastor & Teacher: The Rev. Kelly Thibeault
Welcome to the Oldtown Church!
We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. We invite you to join in on the bold print in the bulletin and to stand as you are able any time you see a ⇑. The restrooms are out the back door of the sanctuary to the right, as is a little space in case your little one needs a walkabout. Here in Oldtown, we are all about being curious, so don’t be afraid to ask questions, and please join us for fellowship after worship!
Finally, as a way of honoring our time together and truly loving our neighbor, we ask that you please silence your phone or, better yet, turn it off, allowing yourself to be truly present in worship.

PRELUDE
GATHERING MUSIC
WELCOME / WORSHIP WAYS
TIME OF CENTERING (C#433)
Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love;
The fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above.
CALL TO WORSHIP
God knows us by name
And will never stop searching for us.
If you feel lost,
Know that God is seeking you.
If you feel found,
Know that God will never leave you.
God’s love never ends.
Let us worship God together.
A CALL TO LET GO
PRAYER OF LETTING GO
If God is a painter, let us be the brush. If God is a musician, let us be the song. If God is an architect, let us be the tools. Let us be the hands. Let us be the builders. But if God is a shepherd who never stops seeking, let us be willing to be found, no matter how lost we feel. Our God is never far away. Forgive us for forgetting this good news. Amen.

Our fears, our hopes, our aims are one, our comforts and our cares.
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love;

STEWARDSHIP CORNER
Weekly Giving
- Last week, we welcomed 48 people in worship, and our total giving to the church for the week was $960.78, which is $462.30 less than expected.
- So far, this year’s congregational giving has been $2,600 more than expected. Keep up the great work!!
Jesus called himself the Good Shepherd and reminded us that the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. As we look to walk in the Way of Jesus, let us identify the things in our lives we can lay down for the benefit of others. One way we do this is by volunteering for the needy in our community. Helping those in need who are unlike us is a great way to be a good shepherd to all, and has the benefit of helping the shepherd and potentially growing the flock.
“I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.“
