CALL TO WORSHIP
Happy are those who follow the ways of the Lord.
God’s ways are just and merciful.
Those who follow God’s ways are continually nourished in faith.
In all that they do, they prosper.
Come, let us open our hearts to God’s compassionate love.
Let us celebrate God’s mercy and justice.

PREPARING OURSELVES FOR PRAYER
In moments like these, I sing out a song,
I sing out a love song to Jesus.
In moments like these, I lift up my hands.
I lift up my hands to the Lord.
Singing, “I love you, Lord.”
Singing, “I love you, Lord.”
Singing, “I love you, Lord. I love you.”
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and the LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing,
The people of God from this dwelling take leave.
The service is ended. O now be extended
The fruits of our worship in all who believe.
The seed of the teaching, receptive hearts reaching
Shall blossom in action for God and for all.
God’s grace did invite us, and love shall unite us
To work for God’s realm and to answer the call.

Did You Know?
- The best way to know God better is to read his word, regularly. Pick up a copy of The Upper Room outside the sanctuary and read the daily scripture and reflection, look online for a Bible reading plan, or challenge yourself to read the whole bible in a year, start to finish all the way through!! Maybe even pick a translation you’re not familiar with in order to get a slightly different perspective. Have fun and improve your relationship with God.
- “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
