Once again, a trip to place flags at the National Cemetery in Bourne will take place on Saturday, May 26th. Those interested should meet at the church at 7:00am. We will stop for breakfast once in Bourne, then to the cemetery for the ceremony at 10:00am. After a moving tribute to honor our vets, thousands of flags are at each section of the cemetery and will be placed by those in attendance. Last year, we found Conrad Morel’s site along with other family and friends. It was not only a wonderful way to honor and give back, but we all learned a little bit about each others’ stories involving the military. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Cindi Barkley, Jeannette Galvin or Kris Collins.
Fun Fact…. there are over 62,000 flags placed on this day!
