The Joy of Giving

Giving is one way we act on our Christian Faith. Jesus taught us to be generous and to have compassion for others. As followers of Christ, we reach out to the least and the lost with our gifts of time, talent and treasure. It's important for our children to learn the lessons of generosity in this world of consumerism.

At Oldtown church we have many opportunities to be good stewards -- to share our abundance with others. Our mission and ministry includes support for soup kitchens and the homeless, worldwide missions as well as local projects, and of course, our own dear church and its ongoing ministry in Christ's name.

You are invited to check out the opportunities for giving through the links below. We hope you will be part of God's CHEERFUL givers!

IN MEMORY OF... -- Providing Memorial and Special Gifts

We welcome gifts given in memory of those who have been, and continue to be, part of our lives, our church, and our community. We also welcome bequests and non-memorial special gifts. These might be an expression of gratitude to God, or they might be in tribute to someone, or in honor of some special occasion, such as a Baptism, Confirmation, Birthday, Marriage, or Anniversary. Such memorial or special gifts can be made as described here.

NETWORK FOR GOOD

Through our partnership with Network for Good, the Internet's leading charitable resource, we have made it possible to give to the church online with a credit card, through a one-time donation or through scheduled recurring donations.

Please consider helping out and doing most of your online searches and shopping through GoodSearch and GoodShop. Simply click on the links above or browse to www.goodshop.com and select "First Congregational Church - North Attleboro" as the charity you support.

RECYCLE INKJET PRINTER CARTRIDGES

Do you have any empty inkjet cartridges? They can be recycled and produce funds for our church. We're working with PLANET GREEN to recycle these cartridges. They provide us free shipping boxes and return postage, and pay us anywhere from 50¢ to $2.00 or more per cartridge, depending on the type of cartridge. You'll be helping the environment and our church. If you'd like to help, just drop off your inkjet cartridges in the collection box in Maxcy Hall.
